I have been procrastinating a bit with VBS this year but today I opened the kit & now I am so excited for VBS. In past years, the theme was exciting but the biblical content seemed to leave something to be desired. the "churched" kids had always heard the "stories" before & the "unchurched" kids appeared to be a bit confused. Last year, that all changed when we discoved the Answers in Genesis VBS program. This year we will focus kids on the true Gold-Christ. We will counteract the myths they hear in movies, tv & from others that there are many roads to heaven through whatever fake god or humanistic path they choose. We will show them that the only true way to heaven is through our Lord & Savior Jesus Christ. The true Gold!!! There is no greater purpose for our lives.
