Decorating Ideas » need help for high ceilingsForum Guidelines

The room I'm decorating has very high drywalled ceilings. I don't have a latter tall enough. I'm looking for ideas to lower the ceiling - in a cost effective way of course or to decorated and not include the ceiling. Should I just black plastic 8 feet or so up? I don't know how to hang the paper mache planets I was going to make either.

Here's an idea just do what you can reach and the rest of it becomes your spaceship. With a little imagination it can be pulled off. We decorated a room and didn't do the ceiling. We ran out of plastic and well it just wasn't working out so the ceiling became part of our space ship. Our VBS starts tonight and our children who have to be there are saying how cool everything looks so don't sweat the small stuff it will work out!! Hope that helps. God bless you and your church.

You can staple the planets to the black plastic, then staple your black plastic to your walls. We didn't do our ceiling, but we did staple black plastic to our walls.
