Evening VBS

Modify the prior schedules as follows:

• For a VBS lasting 2 hours and 30 minute, start at 6:15 p.m. and end at 8:45 p.m.
• For a VBS lasting 2 hours and 45 minute, start at 6:00 p.m. and end at 8:45 p.m.
• For a 3-hour VBS, start at 6:00 p.m. and end at 9:00 p.m.

Note: Because many people come from work for an evening vacation Bible school, some churches run a concession stand or serve a meal beginning an hour before VBS. This can be a wonderful blessing to working families and helps ensure they can be at VBS. Providing meals is a big undertaking, so this task needs dedicated people to organize it and devote each VBS afternoon to food preparation.
